Okay, we’re talking about secondary dwellings in the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains is where I was born. It’s where our firm grew up and where Max Frager, who has 50 consecutive years experience, has spent most of his career. And if there was anybody to talk about secondary dwellings, it would be my father, Max. So I just wanted to go through a few things with you.
So my name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group. A secondary dwelling in the Blue Mountains is very achievable. The reason why I know it’s achievable is because I have done three of these in the Blue Mountains myself personally. These have had a variety of different floor layouts, they’ve been attached, detached, part of an existing house, or part of a new house.

There’s a whole bunch of different things we need to be aware of in the Blue Mountains. It’s a very special place to live. Therefore, we’ve got to balance two things. One, people want to live there, so there’s demand, and also good rental return, I might add.
