So can I build a granny flat in my back garden? My name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group. If you’re asking yourself that question, congratulations, my friend, I want to give you some answers today that will help you to decide whether or not you can get Council Approval for a granny flat in your backyard.
Now, the answer is dependent on your local government areas. Depending on which provisions we use, sometimes there’s some loopholes or some ways that we can expedite and quicken that process of getting approval. But if you’re asking yourself that question, you’re looking at your backyard you thinking, there’s a decent amount of land here so maybe I could maybe get it in my backyard.
