What is Standard Instruments and Model Provisions? Definition or Meaning

‘Standard Instruments and Model Provisions’ definition: Standard Instruments are legal clauses that have been gazetted by Government and can be considered a template for Councils to use when forming LEPs. They help form a regularised planning system across NSW. Model Provisions are the predecessor of Standard Instruments; for the most part, they have been repealed, and are no longer used. They are, however, relevant material for statutory interpretation where older LEPs are in force.
