Location – You have an idea for a signage structure for your business, but will the proposed location comply with local regulations and guidelines. If necessary, is the signage visible from the roadway or walking path?

Design – Does the proposed design of the sign take into consideration the character of the area, signage of other area businesses, and any design guidelines for the area? Council will have rules in terms of size, colour and type that you will need to comply with.
3.
Lighting – Do you plan to have the sign illuminated? Is it permissible? Would impede on surrounding residents or business? This is key to ensure your sign does not affect others.
