So what do you need to include in your subdivision application to make sure it’s successful?
My name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group.
Having done thousands of these for clients, there’s a lot of different things that we do to make sure our subdivision application is complete. But it also maximizes your highest and best use. So you can also maximize the chances of success but also get the most lots out of that subdivision.
First Step for a Subdivision ApplicationThe very first step is, I would actually recommend you do what they call a Preliminary Planning Assessment, which we do if you booked in for an appointment. We can do one for you. What that does is go through all of the rules that you need to comply with.
Key Information to Include in a Subdivision ApplicationSo if you are preparing a development application for a subdivision, you obviously need to include a site plan. You need to make sure you’ve gone through not only the local rules, but also the state based rules. In our team we have over 10 plus ex-council staff. They are people who used to work council that now work with us. So they really know what Council staff are looking for.
Grab Your Guide to Council ApprovalAnd so probably it’s best for you if you are looking at doing a subdivision application to grab what we call Your Ultimate Guide to Council Approval. This guide has a lot of different tips and tricks and goes step-by-step through the process of achieving council approval.
If you jump straight into putting together an application, and are tempted to go straight to a surveyor, you’re probably going to miss a lot of things along the way.
Talk to the ExpertsWe’ve specialized in subdivisions. And we’ve done so many of them over the years. So what we’ve done is just to really streamline it for people to make sure that you don’t make any mistakes, but really also that you get your approval and make it as simple as possible.
So I wish you all the best with your subdivision application. Hopefully we can help you with that. please go to our website councilapproval.com.au where you can book in for an appointment to speak to us.
