What you need to know about being a dual occupancy owner builder. My name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group.
I’d like to congratulate you if you’re thinking of being an owner builder. I just wanted to say it’s absolutely possible. It’s absolutely possible not only to be an owner and builder, but to be able to do a dual occupancy.
It’s absolutely possible not only to be an owner and builder, but to be able to do a dual occupancy.
Dual Occupancy Tips
So a dual occupancy is my favorite investment strategy. If you are thinking about doing this, you’re obviously looking at not going with a project builder. You’re looking at being able to do it yourself. And what you really need to do is partner with a town planning and architecture firm like Council Approval Group. I highly recommend if you haven’t already, grabbing a copy of our magazine, Your Ultimate Guide to Achieving Council Approval.
Book in a Consultation
You’ve obviously got a site in mind if you’re searching and looking around at being an owner builder for dual occupancy. I recommend that you also book in for a consultation with one of our team so that they can talk in more detail about what you’re trying to achieve. They’ll then recommend a roadmap for you going forward.
For me, although I haven’t actually been an owner builder, I have hired a builder but done my own projects. So I’ve become the developer. I know it’s absolutely possible.
I’ve also seen other people do it. I’ve probably done 10 plus of these myself, plus thousands have been done by our clients. So please let us share that wisdom with you.
I wish you every success in your project for your dual occupancy owner build.
