Hi guys, Colin Fragar here. So we are talking about your dreams, your future. And we want to make sure that you don’t get blindsided by the council when you’re trying to achieve council approval.

Mistake #6: Expecting an Easy Application Process

Now here at Council Approval Group, we do thousands of applications for council approval. And we’ve seen everything. So we’re used to what council does when you prepare and lodge your application.
Just a heads up, even with the best-prepared documentation, the council may still not view your application favourably.
So it may even get rejected at the front counter. So strangely, there’s a system of multiple assessments, multiple people looking at your project. And so when they get your application over the front counter, they’re going to look at it for technical completeness. And if there’s one little thing that they can find that’s wrong with it, one tiny little thing, they’re going to send it back to you and you’re going to have to resubmit it.

I just want to make sure that you don’t get blindsided with that. The way to reduce the probability of that getting rejected is to have a properly prepared application. Here at the Council Approval team, we have, literally, team members who used to work for council preparing your application because I know what’s going to occur at the front counter.
