Do you have a plan to build a one bedroom granny flat? Here’s what you need to know. My name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group. So a one bedroom granny flat is actually very achievable and something that we can do for you.
Typically what builders and the manufacturers get wrong is some of the functionality of the living areas. So it’s really important that you have an architect look at this for you, because it’s likely that you have a smaller area to deal with than the 60 square meters and we want to maximize the livability of the property.
Granny Flat One Bedroom Example
I’d like to show you one of the ones that I actually did for myself, maybe you can get some tips and tricks out of this. So this is a one bedroom granny flat. And it’s a silly photo of me. But it has quite a large living area, it’s got the kitchen within its 40 square meters, and it’s actually attached to a main dwelling here. So I love that a granny flat doesn’t have to be detached. So just keep that in mind because sometimes if you attach it, there’s actually a lot more space on the land. More space on the land means you can get a larger floor area for the granny flat. If you detach it, you’re gonna have separation issues.Get Expert Advice
