Okay, what you need to know about granny flats in the Central Coast. My name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group.

Why a granny flat in the Central Coast

So one thing that’s really important to understand about the Central Coast is the growing number of families moving in and the population growth predictions that they have. It’s really important for us to be able to maximize your rental property or maximize the potential of your property.

Granny Flat Mistakes

But what a lot of people make the mistake in doing is that they go down the path of going for an approval or going with a builder without taking a step back and really reflecting on is this:
  1. What is the best use of my property? Is there something better, which we can do?
  2. Or if we do decide that a granny flat is better in this case than a dual occupancy or subdivision, what are the chances of approval and which is the best path of approval? Because there are ways that we can short track and fast track the process for you, so that you can get your approval in place quicker.
And I would also encourage you not to go with a project builder to do the approval process for you because what you end up doing is locking yourself into that builder to construct. What you want to be able to do is to own the approval so that you can tender out to a lot of different builders when that time comes.

Take the Next Step

Now, if you haven’t already, please grab Your Ultimate Guide to Council Approval. And I really like this magazine because what we’ve done in here is we’ve been able to put in some tips and tricks in here based on what we’ve learned from the thousands of granny flats that we have done. It really might start you thinking and really, hopefully get excited about what you’re about to embark on.

My encouragement for you if you do have a project already is to book in for a free consultation with one of our team. If you would like to claim that, what that involves is us going through your project, understanding what you’re trying to achieve and then creating a clear roadmap.
I would encourage you to take action. We see so many people that are just sitting on the fence right now. If you were to take action you will be able to create this secure financial future for yourself from my family’s point of view. I’ve done this many times for myself personally as well as for clients and I’ve seen the impact that it makes.
So keep going and I encourage you to book in for that consultation. My name is Colin Fragar from Council Approval Group.
